Land Editor

Learn more about land editor

The Land Editor is used to create buildings and generate NFTs. It is an editor that anyone can use. Use the Land Editor to forge buildings and place functional elements such as gateways, advertising spaces, and other functional components.

Getting Started

This section explains how to use the Land Editor to edit your 3D building models on your land, as well as other basic information that will help you get started.

The following sections describe more about how to use the Land Editor to work with 3D models on your land.

Plot Size

The white tiles in the Land Editor represent the real size of each piece of land in the virtual world. If the length and width of the land when creating the metaverse is set to 15x15 meters, then the white tiles in the Land Editor will have an area of 15x15 meters.

According to the settings of each metaverse world creator, the size of each piece of land in the universe may vary, with a minimum or default value of 15x15 meters.

Plot color

The white tiles in the Land Editor are a representation of the land and are used to indicate where buildings can be placed. When actual buildings are placed on the land, the color of the tiles will match the color of the land.

Adding Functional Components

The Land Editor provides users with functional components such as advertising billboards and gateways.

GATEWAY

Gateway is used for linking web pages, accessing indoor spaces, transmitting to specific land IDs, and teleporting across metaverses, as a way to expand the possibilities of different services for building NFTs.

To insert a gateway into your building, follow these steps:

  1. Similar to placing a regular 3D model component, select the "Gateway Function Component" in the model version of the editor and insert the gateway.

  2. Adjust the appropriate position and size, and use the Avatar module as a reference for scale. (It is recommended that the gateway size be larger than one Avatar scale).

  3. Similar to placing a regular 3D model component, after placing the gateway, enter "1" in the "Runtime Teleporter Component" Index field for the first gateway. When the AlliMeta system opens up to set up the second gateway, enter "2" in the "Runtime Teleporter Component" Index field for the second gateway.

ADVERTISING BILLBOARD

The design of advertising billboards (Ads) is an important part of advertising placement because they can affect the effectiveness and visibility of the ads. Advertising billboards come in different forms and sizes.

To insert an advertising billboard into your building, follow these steps:

  1. Similar to placing a regular 3D model component, select the "Advertising Field Function Component" in the model version of the editor and insert the advertising billboard.

  2. Adjust the appropriate position and size.

  3. Similar to placing a regular 3D model component, after inserting the advertising billboard, enter "1" in the "RuntimeAd Component" Index field for the first gateway. If setting up a second gateway, enter "2" in the "RuntimeAd Component" Index field for the second advertising billboard.

How to test the front/back of an advertising billboard:

For more information about advertising billboard settings, please refers to here.

The actual 3D experience layer of all inserted advertising billboards is transparent, so an advertising image needs to be set up in order to see the ad on the billboard.

Building Casting

After completing the object editing for all buildings, you need to complete the casting process to activate their 3D functional components.

  1. Enter the building name.
