Inception and Design Goals

The metaverse should be a decentralized world, rather than the exclusive privilege of a few wealthy individuals or large corporations.

Inception

At the end of 2020, the founding team planned to create a small metaverse that would allow users to work and meet online during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also requiring decentralized community governance mechanisms and NFT protocols for digital assets. In the process of building it, we realized that it is not easy to build a metaverse and that it requires a huge budget and a complex technical stack, which requires years of work and a large, multi-disciplinary professional team to build it. We also learned that there is a lack of user-friendly tools and frameworks for building metaverses It is difficult for businesses and communities to quickly build their own metaverse projects without technical expertise. This motivated us to create AlliMeta, a user-friendly metaverse application framework that can be used by anyone looking to create a decent metaverse.

We believe that building virtual worlds should not be a daunting task, reserved only for the wealthy or large corporations. As a result, the AlliMeta team was officially established in November 2021 and began formal development in January 2022. We expanded existing metaverse development tools into a multi-user platform, aiming to provide the necessary infrastructure and tools for designing, developing, and launching metaverses to individuals or teams without 3D, internet, or blockchain programming skills. This lowers the technical barriers, development costs, and time for building metaverses. By offering user-friendly tools and features that enable anyone to create and manage their own metaverse, our goal is to allow businesses and communities to quickly build their metaverse projects and create a platform that is open and inclusive to everyone.

Design Goals

To achieve the above philosophy, we have set the following design goals for AlliMeta:

• User-friendliness: AlliMeta should be easy to use and accessible to people with different levels of technical expertise so that anyone can create and manage their own virtual world.

• Customizability: AlliMeta should provide a range of customization options to allow users to create and tailor their own virtual worlds to suit their needs and preferences.

• Interoperability: AlliMeta should be compatible with different blockchain protocols and virtual reality technologies so that users can easily connect and interact with other virtual worlds and platforms.

• Scalability: AlliMeta should be able to support large and complex virtual worlds, and should be able to handle the demands of a growing user base.

• Security: AlliMeta should provide robust security measures to protect user data and assets, and to ensure the integrity of the platform.

• Sustainability: AlliMeta should be sustainable in the long term, with a focus on minimizing resource consumption and maximizing efficiency.

By meeting these goals, we aim to create a platform that is user-friendly, customizable, interoperable, scalable, secure, and sustainable, and that enables anyone to create and participate in the metaverse.
